Alexandra Raisman

Aly Raisman is an American gymnast, who was an athlete and captain of 2012's Fierce Five team as well as the 2016 Final Five US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. At the 2012 Olympics she was awarded gold both on the team floor as well as the individual competitions. The bronze medal was awarded through her balance bar. In 2012 she was the very first American athlete to win the highest number of medals in the Olympics. She and her teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans to win back-to-back gold medals in team competitions. Silver medals were also awarded for the all-around competition and floor exercises. In between the two Olympics she took an absence from competitive gymnastics for 3 years. Additionally, she was a member two world championship gold winning teams. Gymnastics was her first sport since age two, and her most loved activity is Floor Exercise. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer group to honor her late grandma. Aly is planning to pursue the profession of a fashion designer. Her future goals include growing her range of leotards. Fierce the new novel she's currently working on is due out sometime in the coming year.
